Becoming an intercessor, in my experience, doesn’t work by trying to be one.
I have found better success by not focusing on prayer but on Jesus. Living with Christ, recognizing he is living with and in me, listening for his whispers has done more for my prayer life than trying to pray. Inviting him to act in the lives of others and asking him to intervene in the environment he and I share seems to happen on its own.
Prayer: Jesus, come live with me, every day, all day!
