A lot of people think of church in many different ways but it is good to see how the Bible defines it. Paul, writing to Corinthian believers, addresses his letter,

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their’s and our’s — 1st Corinthians 1:2

It is not a place or a building, though it meets in all places and even in homes (1Cor 16:9; Col 4:15). It is individuals who have met the risen Lord on this side of life, have chosen to follow him, and have said to others
