Conspiracy Theory

Conspiracy theories are rampant! The world bankers are plotting this, the Rothschilds are planning that, the government is secretly conducting one thing and another.

It has always been such and they may all be true! But there there is a higher planner!

Take a moment to read what the Bible says about that,

“Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers.

They sharpen their tongues … aim cruel words … shoot from ambush … encourage each other … they say, “Who will see it?”

But God will shoot them with his arrows … turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin” – Psalm 64:2-8 (NIV)

A friend years ago told God in prayer, “Lord, since you are going to be up all night anyway, I’ll let you worry about that; I’m going to get some sleep.”

At Some Point Trust Must Begin

They spoke against God, saying, “… Look! He struck the rock and water gushed out; torrents overflowed. But can He also provide bread or furnish meat for His people?”

Therefore, the LORD heard and became furious – Psalm 78:19-22a

It gets really old to continuously say, “Well, is God going to come through for us this time?”

At some point the child of God has to start trusting God’s Care.

Fat Fallible Fears

Jacob looked up and there was Esau, coming with his four hundred men; … But Esau … threw his arms around his neck and kissed him. And they wept. – Genesis 33:1,4

The patriarch, Jacob, had wronged his brother and for twenty (20) years dreaded the inevitable reunion. When he saw Esau and his four hundred armed men he knew he was toast — until his brother kissed him!

But all those fears wrong. The toll they exacted for nothing.

People do very foolish things with nothing but their own fears as motivations — and sometimes our worst fears turn out completely false. There is a better alternative.

“Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks.” – Philippians 4:6

I heard an old preacher say, “When you’re coming to a brick wall, trust God will either move the wall or make a hole big enough for your head to fit through.”
