In the 20 of the 80/20 Rule

And Pharaoh’s daughter said unto [Moses’ birth mother], Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give thee thy wages. And the women took the child, and nursed it. – Exodus 2:9

Moses mother was paid to nurse her own child while others were loosing theirs and living in poverty.

Even in the worst environments, the most unjust laws, and in spite of evil intents of wicked people God offers divine exceptions by faith so that we not only survive but thrive.

Prayer: Help me, Father, to not be afraid or give up hope but to look for your divine exceptions and trust your care. Amen.

We Cry, He Listens

[T]he Israelites were still groaning under their slavery and cried out for help. Their cry went up to God, who heard … and remembered his covenant – Exodus 2:23-24 (GNB)

The Exodus from Egypt was an epic event; and if we learn only one thing from it, it would be that when people cry to God he listens.

Teach your children how to cry out to God, it will save their lives.
