Faith Change – Hymn: I must Tell Jesus

I found a better way for me to sing the old hymn, “I Must Tell Jesus”

I have told Jesus all of my trials;
I do not bear these burdens alone;
In my distress, He kindly did help me
He every loves and cares for his own.

Chorus:
I have told Jesus!  I have told Jesus!
I do not bear my burdens alone;
I have told Jesus!  I have told Jesus!
Jesus has helped me, Jesus alone.

I have told Jesus all of my troubles;
He is a kind, compassionate Friend;
I did but ask him, He did deliver,
Made of my troubles, quickly an end.

Tempted and tried I have a great Savior;
One who has helped my burdens to bear;
I have told Jesus, I have told Jesus,
He all my cares and sorrows has shared.

O how the word to evil allured me!
O how my heart was tempted to sin!
I have told Jesus, he has enabled
Over the world the vic'try to win.

“Jesus came to …”

“And you know that Jesus came to take away our sins” – 1 John 3:5

The real reason Jesus came, according to Scripture, was to take away our sins.

If you don’t see sin as your problem, then you can’t see the importance of what Jesus did and continues to do.
